I don't think that their software team is going to fix any of those issues. The owl sound is just a marginal piece of code - a bone thrown to the aficionados. Eventually there'll be something in the OTAs that will meet your approval.
I wish there were RANs in between Tucson and Lordsburg. There are ~10 EA chargers in Marana and 4 EA chargers in Bensen (IIRC). And there are ~16 Rivian-accessible Superchargers in Marana or NW Tucson. But going to the Chiricahuas or to Bisbee, or up the Coronado Trail to the White Mountains is...
It sure would be nice if Rivian would just insert code to allow us to calibrate via a certified 1 mile or 10 mile section of road. As a point of reference, 40 years ago, I installed an aftermarket device that allowed me to do that in my Nissan 4WD pickup. That way, no matter what tire/wheel (or...
Maybe not, but "Rivian is headquartered in Irvine, CA." (from Rivian.com)
When I bought my R1T, I had to send cashier's checks to California.
And Palo Alto is, apparently, where the Audi was modified to run Rivian software.
Yeah, the E350 windshield is substantially closer to vertical. But, as mentioned, it is tall, especially compared to an R1T in Conserve mode, so maybe not as many stones get up that high (or maybe they have a different angle of impact when they do). I did note that I got a chip in the E350...
That is not, in my estimation, accurate, either. In that sentence, the phrase "proudly bearing the Scout badge across their grills" should be removable without changing the meaning of the sentence. That would leave "A new American truck and SUV will debut for the first time in 44 years." -...
The windshield of my Ford E350, it appears to me, is at an even more steep angle. Took several years and over 50,000 miles before I got a chip in that. On my R1T, in 19 months (31,000 miles) there have been about 4 chips/stars and one crack running 8 inches or so (to the edge).
One factor might...
I am not implying that it is "soft." I am implying that it is probably more easily abraided than glass. Kind of like the difference between glass spectacles and plastic spectacles.
I am glad to hear that your experience with exo-shield has been good. I might try that after I finally have to...
I'm going to call BS. Sure, the angle is *a* factor, but glass quality may be a bigger factor. My Ford E350 has a more upright windshield than does my R1T.
I bought the van used; its windshield had no cracks (I think it had genuine Ford glass) when I bought it. I drove it for several years...
If you are driving, there could be fresh air being forced in. This would especially be true if the fresh air vents are open, but there could still be some air being forced in, even if the vent door is closed. Just a thought.
No.
The federal government is often in the mix when extending basic services useful to the country and its people.
It gave land grants to railroads, to encourage extension across the country. It has helped keep Amtrak afloat. It covered the majority of the costs to build interstate highways. It...
