Oh I’m not complaining, nor making a value judgement. Just noting that this visual display is probably not the result of a conspiracy but rather a deliberate (visual) design choice.

Why the plot is centered at 2, as opposed to some other average needs to achieve a stated range, is a valid question. I suppose it’s because the graphics designer who worked on this display thought whole numbers and symmetry looked better.

There is probably also an inverse relationship between reliability and the rate of energy moving through the system as well as dynamic loads, which scale non linearly with mass. Which is to say that those things are related to the rate of component wear.

Good points. Can QC at the factory be improved? Sure. As you say, you can not buy a McLaren and expect Corolla dependability. To add to this, our 2.5 yr R1T has never had a critical failure (one that would have prevented driving). Also the mean time between service visits increased dramatically...

You can log into all of the same accounts under her driver profile. My wife and I share an Amazon account so that works for audible. for Spotify we happen to have the family plan so we each get our own but there should be no issue having the same Spotify account on two driver profiles.

Mine seemed to decide at random but I think @godfodder0901 is right. If it’s 9am but the display was in night mode the last time the vehicle was on, it will choose the owl. I ended up switching to all Owl all the time.

Update: 20-30 more minutes and it was done.

Hmmm. So far taking much longer than anticipated. Kicked it off what seems like about an hour ago and is now only at 16%…

I am ready to divorce the camp speaker. I’ve tried to like it and use it as intended over two years but it fights me most of the time. The max-volume connect/disconnect sounds are obnoxious when camping. It connects to BT when I don’t want it to and refuses to connect half the time when I do...

Also, it’s unlimited data over a cell network. For about 12$ per month. For me, I’m not sure anything else needs to be in that subscription.
