I haven't updated yet, but sounds like another update I'm going to leave on the shelf for now. I pretty much always wait a few weeks now before updating.
From a quick 5 min internet scan, it looks like various (non scientific) tests show an average of about 3% efficiency gain for various aero covers (Rivian and Tesla) mostly. Have to choose if it's worth it for you, vs the wheels scratches and your aesthetic preferences. I would think most of...
Unless it has changed, there is no Canadian shop but you can buy gear from the service center. But I donāt know how to get ahold of them other than knocking on their door?!
Ha - yup, that would make sense. I was on Hornby for work a few times in the spring/summer. Glad it was noticed :) Great place for a class camping trip!
Iām so glad you had a good experience! While it sounds like youāve had your fair share of unfortunate headaches with the car so far, hopefully those are behind you and things are smoother from here on out. Feel free to send me a message on here if you need advice on anything else!
Hmm, I don't see to have the guy's name. I bought the wheels/tires combo online through them, but had them shipped to their Coquitlam store for install, and I go back each season for changeover (I store the off season tires myself at home, but they also offer wheel storage). They are very close...
That's too bad :( I am also in North Van and have been using the 21s since I took delivery in March of 2023. I have about 20-25,000 kms on them, and I checked tread depth yesterday and they have about 65% left, which makes me think others are possibly right - you could have an alignment issue...
Yikes, something ate those up. I'm on the 21s and they've held up great in Vancouver. Maybe the hot pavement? I have probably 15k miles on them, and they look like have another 15k to go.
My snowies are different diameter than my stock 21s, speedo dropped by 2-3 km/hr to the ACTUAL speed from the artificially high it normal shows. I ignore it, doesnāt change my driving habits in the slightest (just realize your efficiency will show a bit less and total mileage too)
I use FOB only, everyday. Have never changed the battery (but believe I will need to very soon). March ā23 delivery.
Despite some members apparently knowing what key is best for me to use, this is the perfect setup for me. No PAAK ever. Itās actually 22nd century tech - no need to be glued to...
Why is this thread so entertaining? :)
I'm in this camp - never had an unlock sound (unless you count the anticipatory giggles of both driver and passengers), except for the Halloween sounds in previous years. I liked having both lock and unlock for the fun sounds!
Interesting. Mine doesnāt do that. The stop charging button disappears completely and I donāt get any further notifications, I can just unplug and go. Have you tried a simple soft reset?
I see youāre from the Island. If you happen to be passing through North Van and would like to take a look at an R1T for reference, shoot me a note. Itāll be two years for me in March, so lots of experience to discuss the pros/cons, and Iām still super excited about this vehicle (as is my wife)...
I got the same message the day before yesterday, which is new for me (it's been in for over 30k kms), so I assume a software related issue from the latest update. Message is gone, but I haven't checked if it's still recording... will do that if I remember tonight
Another option - I have proximity active on the fob, but not on the phone. Always take the fob with me, phone stays in the truck often. Locks/unlocks with proximity or fob buttons just fine.
