Now compare MY to a RAV4 Hybrid. Comparable cars and Rav4 probably has more expensive interiors with real controls and less cost cutting all around.
Rav4
39 mpg combined.
Gallons to drive 10000: 256.4
Cost at $4 per gallon: 1025.6

I will go with your...
EVs generally don't save money for average driver driving 10k miles per year. Its not a surprise to me, but it is for some. Some states, including WA charge EV fees of about $250. So there is that, in addition to the higher purchase price.
I took the survey and it asks for subjective satisfaction and objective reliability numbers. I am sure most of us had issues, but most are also not the kind that disable the vehicle or cause safety issues. Mine certainly were not in this category.
Poor reliability should not be a surprise to...
CATL had LFP parents, which expired somewhat recently. I haven't heard anything bad about Panasonic cells, but they are all spoken for by the one who shall not be named.
Does anyone except CATL make LFP batteries? I know Samsung made Li-Ion cells for G1, but there were updates for G2. I was fine with anyone as long as it wasn't CATL.
Congress did not give loan to Rivian directly. Congress delegated some agency with high level goals. That agency will be controlled by whoever is in power. Whether the agency is independent or not also depends on the people in power. It's never 100% independent, but I hope you get where I am...
I don't need winter tires or off-road tires. There aren't any 20 inch all seasons with significantly more grip than Michelin MS/2. I will switch only if a much better all season tire is available on 20s.
I was looking for Michelin Cross climate 2 or Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. Unfortunately none...
Depends on your use case, but I would be more worried about the noise than charging speed above 6 KW. I have been considering a Honda Eu7000 for home backup and possibly charging EVs. It is one of the quieter ones and very efficient because of fuel injection. Also, minimal maintenance, because...
I would try to maximize the warranty coverage to your needs. Very low miles/year, go with either. If you will hit mileage limit before the year limit, go with one with low miles. Rest are subjective and others have covered the audio system.
All vehicles will purpose of they hit bumps at a certain frequency, and the frequency is specific to the vehicle.
Firstly, turn off auto ride height. Try changing dampers first in standard height. If it doesn't work, try low height and try all damper setting.
Best thing to do would be to try...
Same, I use cruise a lot to stop me from speeding. Its gotten horrible in town though. It cannot handle any curves or parked cars.
I think it works fine on freeways. May not be the best, but usable.
It was $500 back when I bought it and IDK why anyone would pay $800 for it, now that Rivian will update the port to NCAS sOOn. Chargers from utility are in $300 range and Tesla 🤢 is around $500.
If you do capit, put in in a junction bos at minimum. Capped open wires are a no no for safety and...
My 2017 CX9 does cruise control better than Rivian at this point. It got better and then worse with updates. Just give me the dumb cruise option, especially on city streets. It's clear that they stopped development on G1 anyway.
It's a $500 charger. You can get some chargers with rebate from utility company in some places. With the cost of paying electrician, it makes no sense to remove it. If they damage it, deduct from their deposit.
