Out Of Spec Motoring Recent Video -- numerous issues with charging

I have ~35K miles and have fast charged in the CA/AZ desert many times. I would guess Kyle has some thermal issue in the pack, one of the modules gets too hot. I feel like he actually had proved that at one point. The only time I have seen a temp derate was on a Tesla charger in San Luis...

Does this count as a recovery?

Had some new visitors to the range this weekend and they were not aware of the washouts..... Did get them out with no apparent damage to the front, I guess it counts? Always carry multiple soft shackles!!!

R1 Refresh Full Walkthrough by Out of Spec Kyle

I bought my R1T because of your content, I had no concerns about range or other issues. I had about a 1 year wait on preorder and spent that looking for a reason not to get the R1. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

I’m planning to move to a roll up, I find I need to access the bed more often and the Tail Lidz are less convenient for me. They are about 1 year old, see my review below. The edges are rough, I recently re-glued them with gorilla glue. they look really good installed and are a solid cover...

Update (R1S SoCal to Sedona AZ in Two RAN Stops?) Road Trip Completed!

Depends on where in LA you are leaving from. I have gone to Prescott from Vista over the 79 (large elevation gain and drop) into Palm Springs with one stop at Quartzite for about 40 minutes (ate lunch). I left Vista at 100% and got to Quartzite with about 25% SOC. I got to Prescott with over...

CA to AZ hunting trip with guerrilla charging (RAN, EA, RV plug)

That Tesla NEMA kit looks legit... would be nice for Rivian to add more adaptor options.

CA to AZ hunting trip with guerrilla charging (RAN, EA, RV plug)

Sorry, I should have been more clear, I was on a 50 amp plug with the 240 Plug, but the EVSE limits charging to 32 amps. I do also carry this in case:

CA to AZ hunting trip with guerrilla charging (RAN, EA, RV plug)

Did an elk hunting trip over thanksgiving from Vista CA to Springerville AZ. 1200 miles round trip. Took I8 from Vista to Meza and stopped to charge at EA in Yuma and RAN and Gila Bend. I used a 30 amp RV plug to charge in Mesa to get to 100%. On the way to Springerville, stopped at APS/EA...
