I have ~35K miles and have fast charged in the CA/AZ desert many times.
I would guess Kyle has some thermal issue in the pack, one of the modules gets too hot. I feel like he actually had proved that at one point.
The only time I have seen a temp derate was on a Tesla charger in San Luis...
Had some new visitors to the range this weekend and they were not aware of the washouts.....
Did get them out with no apparent damage to the front, I guess it counts?

I bought my R1T because of your content, I had no concerns about range or other issues. I had about a 1 year wait on preorder and spent that looking for a reason not to get the R1. Best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
