I had the same issue but was able to get the 21" Defenders ordered and installed at Discount Tire in August. I continuosly watched Tire Rack and DT websites (for about three months) and ordered quickly when they showed in stock. It was worth the price and wait - great tires at a good price.

I've have a 2022 R1T for about 18 months and 24,000 miles. I decided to not wait for the power cover and switched to the manual. I have never regretted that decision. It is very well engineered and easy to install and remove. I love the storage case and how it fits perfectly in the gear tunnel.

I am in the same situation with my R1T and 21s. It looks like the only current option are the OE Pirelli's. Maybe Michelin is coming out with a 21" EV rated Defender, but conflicting info on release date. All advice is appreciated.
