Think you will be good - just check plugshare before you head out to make sure there are no last minute issues. Much better to do this trip now vs the summer where an issue could literally be deadly
I had this problem last week after my car had been parked at the airport for a few days. Do the soft reset of the entertainment center as described above and you should be good.
We have a 16" Bambi and and R1S and been averaging 1.41 mi/kwH which we are pleased with. Bambi weighs about 3500 lbs according to the screen.
We are upsizing though to a 28" so expect those numbers to drop. We used to tow with Model Y so used to stopping a LOT so will adjust.
My wife! She fell in love with the Pottery Barn. Agree office is similar as we like the separate couch and Dinette and would check most boxes. We are seeing some nice deals on 2024 PBs now too so the price is way less of on issue.
Plus I think it would be more likely to be a longer-term...
Yes that is exactly why we were looking at the bigger one - my wife and I are both on calls all day as we work remote and in a larger trailer we can each take an end of it. We are both loud but figure if we close both curtains we will not hear each other :)
Yes - I wouldn't reduce it too much.
I had to do something similar when I was towing our Bambi with a Model Y. Would not be anything too much but an easy way to cut weight is to only have one propane tank filled. I have never needed 2 full propane tanks. More drastic would be moving the...
Hello - had a couple questions. We have an R1S and currently tow a 16' Airstream Bambi with no issues and no WDH. We are looking to upgrade and looking at the Airstream Pottery Barn edition.
I think we are right at the limit of the R1S with a Pottery Barn but wanted another opinion on the...
I am most curious on this one:
Ride height adjustment can life up while trying to hook up trailer (safety concern)
Where did you read or come up with this one? I have never seen this and don't think it can happen while you are in park. There is some auto leveling once connected but this is...
There are a lot of ones along the beach that are hard to get so will recommend this one: https://www.ventura.org/parks-department/inland-parks/dennison-park-ojai/
Overlooks the Ojai Valley, is usually pretty easy to get a site and cheap. Ojia is a short drive away with everything to do there...
This is all super info! We have an R1S and a 16ft Bambi and averaging 1.3 mi/kwh. We were at 1.4 before the last trip with more wind and mountains.
Looking to upgrade to upgrade to 25ft international in the next year or so and seeing the efficiency is helpful.
One thing to remember is to make sure you have a backup plan at your destination. Meaning you don't want to show up with 10% and the charger you were planning on is not working, blocked or in use.
We tow a 16' bambi but are just using a regular ball and not a WDH. From everything I read it is not really needed as the car weighs double the trailer so potential for sway is minimal. Understand why you might want use though as there is always a debate on this topic.
We used to tow with a...
We were towing with a Model Y (a 16ft Bambi Airstream) too and I did end up getting a new adjustable hitch for our R1S. Like everyone else said we did try to tow on Low but ultimately standard provided a better ride and towing experience. You will love it and the range you will get vs the...
I have this exact same issue on the passenger door that we took Delivery on the last week of December. They scheduled a mobile Service for March 28th to come fix it. That was first available when I booked in early Jan
Also just heard the chargers at Shoppers Lane on south Lake were just turned on today. Haven't tried them but the city called and told me as I had put in a ticket on them. These are Shell Recharge as well
