I'm nearly twice your size :CWL:. If it could actually hold me, that would be pretty awesome. Being able to use it as a platform for nature/wildlife photography would be a huge plus.
I've read that the new PTC is much more reliable than the original one, but anything mechanical can and will...
I've seen multiple posts and responses of people standing on the Interobang, which is awesome, but very few mention weight. I'm 6'3" 240-250lbs. My body type is "clearly loves tacos", so I'm curious if it would actually hold me up there.
Ya, I agree. I'm fully expecting them to say they don't have the parts (yet again) and push it out until next year. My problem is I have a roadtrip in December, and I need a tonneau, powered or not. Ideally, I would have loved to not have to spend another $1500 on something to replace something...
I'm still waiting on Rivian to install my PTC. They've rescheduled 3 times, and pushed it out 2 months later than originally scheduled. With winter weather coming much sooner than I'll now get the powered cover installed, I'm looking at the Interobang manual cover to fill the gap. I've read good...
Just got my R1t recently, and we're looking to put a RTT over the bed, to help cut down setup time, and the amount of stuff we need to pack when we want to go camping. While I have no doubt that my wife and I could easily fit in any of the offerings that will fit over the bed, like the iKamper...
Ya, the $7500 came right off the top, in addition to the $6000 F&F discount.
That looks like an awesome deal! I went with leasing mostly because I couldn't afford the monthly payment if I financed it, since I didn't have enough for a down-payment to bring it anywhere near what I'm paying, but...
I saw some others that were very similar that warned not to operate the windows once it was installed. Is it the same with these, or can you roll the windows up/down while they're installed?
We have some straps that clip into the seatbelt receivers in the back seat and clip to the dogs harnesses, to help keep them from moving around too much, and from flying through the windshield if we were to ever get in a crash. My younger dog loves car rides, but also loves to just wander around...
Just got my lease terms.
Config is 2024 R1T, Performance Dual Motor, Large, LA Silver, Black + Dark Ash interior, 21"wheels.
Subtotal: $80,500
Down payment: $1500 + $500 deposit
I know. I know. "Don't put a down payment on a lease", but I have the cash now and wanted the lower payments...
I would say a subscription or one-time cost > initial purchase price are the two most likely outcomes for it. Hopefully for base DM lease owner's sakes it's a subscription. Then it might be worth it, since you are putting money in for your own enjoyment, but not permanently dumping value into a...
Very helpful to know. I've got bad knees, so kneel mode will probably be used quite a bit. Right now, getting out of my Volvo S60 is a literal pain, because it's so low. Getting in and out of the R1T when I did the demo drive was much easier on the knees.
I pulled the trigger on the PDM! Waiting for finance to get the numbers together and send approval (fingers crossed).
The tax credit would be nice to have, but the "what if" would always be there in my head, because I'm an overthinker.
Colorado EV Tax credit aside, there's only a $4/mo difference between PDM and base DM (assuming my numbers are all accurate). I think that's what's making the decision so tough. I'd hate to be 6 months into a 3 year lease wondering "would the performance have been more fun, for only $4 more per...
Ya, quicker 0-60 time is always fun, but in reality I wouldn't be using Sport mode all that often.
I would most likely stick to AP mode 90% of the time, except Snow mode in the winter, and the occasional offroad modes when doing some dispersed camping. I'm planning on getting the 21" wheels...
I was thinking about that, but I'm planning to lease, so I'm not sure if that's the smartest move really. If I end up buying out at the end, then it would make sense, but if not, I'd be sinking thousands into a truck that's not mine. Also, no word on how much that software upgrade will cost just...
This is exactly what I was looking for. From that I can just add 0.6" to the overall height of "Lowest" and then go check my garage to be sure. If I go PDM it won't matter, but like I said, that tax credit is tempting...
Quad would be awesome, but they're just too far out of my price range right now, even with the F&F discount. I'm really on the fence about PDM vs DM, since the DM will qualify for that Colorado tax credit, whereas the PDM is $500 over (so close). I like that the PDM has Sport mode, and the...
Sorry to necro an old thread, but I'm about to pull the trigger on an R1T and curious what you guys found to be the right balance. I have United's Standard Residential plan as well, and I've run some numbers based on past load and found that either Time of Day or Smart Choice would probably be...
