My advice is to shop installer and not film. Both Suntek and XPEL have a nice product that works very well and is supported well. If you prefer a clear film, then I would suggest Suntek as the installed product looks better. Once again, shop installer, not the film.

I've just placed a reservation for another R1T. It's a bit of an experiment on seeing if I can circumvent the end of 2023 delivery date Rivian has provided. Any guesses from the pro's here on the forums for an actual delivery date or if I have a chance to 'jump-the-queue" as a few have done...

The issue is not because they are a private entity, the 'issue' is exactly what you stated, VW was legally bound by the American US Govt.,to do it. America absolutely has skin in the game because it was legally mandated by the US to take care of this.... The CEO, President and CFO are all ex VW...

There is a delay in getting the 20's from China and people are being quoted end of the year or 2023 for a 20' spare at this moment. It's an absolute and significant shortage....there is only one company building them (you can see this in my wheel thread) in China.....

Possibilities.....the niche' aftermarket is going to be outstanding......I just need a center console bottomless pit solution......

Wheels, tires, accessories and vehicles fall into the arena of personal preference...everyone has a favorite pizza and yours might not be mine.....I was born and raised in San Diego, which makes me genetically inclined to off-road, baja, supercross, moto-x, etc., so 20" AT's all the way for me...

Elon is the reason the R1's even exist....he is the single biggest influencer in the modern era as one man changed a 100+ year old industry in less than a decade (Got that out of the way). Every manufacturer of any merit and many that have zero are introducing EV's and in some cases a 100%...

I can actually answer this question ;)..........We've already had a few 112F+ days here....I would say the AC is not quite as efficient overall as my Tundra (what a robust truck!), but there is one very important area where it outperforms the Tundra and that is when the vehicle is stopped...
