  1. Rivian to ramp up production to 200 a week (per Bloomberg)

With all this great math work, there is one factor I didn't see in your equation. When exactly did you put your name on the list?
  2. Rivian produced 1,015 vehicles total in 2021!

WooHoo! And two of those vehicles actually went to non-Rivian employees!
  3. Video: Alexa opening and closing front trunk on R1T

I'm starting to get that itch on the back of my neck. Wanted to buy from a company that was independent and made their own decisions. If I wanted a big corporation making the decisions I would buy a Ford Lightning.
  4. 180 R1T produced / 156 R1T delivered as of Oct 31 -- per Updated Rivian S1 [11/1]

Actually, feeling a bit more "second-class" rather than second-party classification.
  5. Just Finished NY First Mile Drive. My R1T impressions & Review

Thank you! That does help me remain hopeful.
  6. Just Finished NY First Mile Drive. My R1T impressions & Review

I'm curious about the visibility as well but for a different reason. I'm 5'3" and have been disappointed more times than I can say in a vehicle I otherwise like making visibility uncomfortable. Auto makers don't take this into account often enough. (daughter 5'1", MIL 4'11", friend 5'4") Don't...
  7. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

That's wires etc all over if we have to buy the after kit from XM. Like I said, my current vehicle had it already "under the hood" so to speak when I bought my car. I could activate it with SiriusXM or not. It was integrated with my sound system, the car came to me wired. If I have to add it on...
  8. First Midnight R1T + Other Rivians Spotted at Breckenridge, CO Press Drive Event ⛰

The Compass Yellow was my first love for this truck. Then pictures other than the Rivian configuration site came up. Have for the past few months been thinking I might have made the wrong choice. Seeing these, if true to actual colors, I'm going with my gut and my first choice, yellow. Not...
  9. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

It seems pretty obvious from many of these comments that many/most of you have not driven in the Southwest. Where we live we can barely get cell reception, and we live outside a major city! You can be in Albuquerque or Santa Fe and walk 2ft while on a call and lose the connection. Relying on a...
  10. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

Why can't there be an option. My current vehicle had the setup for SiriusXM. It was up to me to activate it if I wanted. That's all I'm asking. Just make it available as an option. Why should I have to set up a playlist every time I'm out driving. I would like to choose a station like Lithium...
  11. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

Oh I totally agree! Once I'm out hiking or fishing or biking I'm also there for the sounds of nature and to decompress. But on the way there I would really like some tunes to start that process.
  12. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

Isn't one of the points of having a Rivian to spend more time out in the middle of nowhere? I want my tunes getting there and SiriusXM Radio is the reliable way I listen to tunes now. Instead they want us to rely on our phone apps and bluetooth that have limited reach?
  13. Rivian Colors Spotted on Production Line: Limestone, Launch Green, Forest Green, Canyone Red, Rivian Blue

I am SO anxious to see Compass Yellow! Why is it left out of all conversations? Think I am one of maybe two dozen people who ordered this color. Know that could mean it will be the Last Truck produced but on the Rivian Configurations I liked the golden yellow. If it's more lemon I really need to...
