It can vary. I've seen him do 4 videos a week on his main channel. I've also seen him do only one in some weeks. October is a busy month for him. He calls it Techtober. There are a lot of consumer electronics released during the month, so he'll be busy.
This week, he has two vids. One for the...
So, this is the build and pricing of the R1T I ordered..
For now, I've capped my price at $74000, in case the new EV Credit gets passed and has an MSRP cutoff. If the cutoff doesn't make it into the final law, I'll move to the adventure pack.
I may also change the color to Green and remove some...
Well, my hand was forced after Rivian posted that they were bringing 1st Mile events to Denver. I put my order in. I'm keeping the price under $74000 until we know more about the EV Tax Credit. Once it's passed, I may change from an Explorer pkg to an Adventure pkg.
Of course, immediately...
That was the last straw. I got my order in a few minutes ago.
However, right after doing so, the post from Rivian was taken down on both Twitter and Instagram.
BTW, any Denver area people willing to share their drive if I don't get picked to do one? ;);)
I wouldn't criticize you for saying that.
To date, I'm only impressed with Tesla FSD and GM's Super Cruise. But I still wouldn't buy either one. Driver+ hasn't shown enough for me to have a full formed opinion on it.
Good conversation here....
> $1800 for AT tires and 20s is a rip off. $800 for a spare is as well.
Seems high but depends on quality I guess, I see ford 18->20 as $1395 so is "close"
Ford's AT tire option is currently showing $150. This is based on the customer pricing survey so it could...
Additionally, one of the proposals limits the price of the vehicle to $74000. That pushed the Lariat extended range completely out of the credit.
I've got my fingers crossed that the Union proposal gets dropped. I have zero problems with unions but that is anti-competitive.
The Pro, XLT, and XLT+ are all cheaper. Even with the extended range battery, the XLT+ is $4000 cheaper.
However, the basic Lariat (with less range) is about the same price as the Rivian R1T Explorer. It makes the Lariat seem like a ripoff.
So I'm here going back and forth on either an R1T or an F150 Lightning. I've done some pricing work below. As you can see, even the R1T Explore pkg. compares VERY favorably to the Lariat trim. With the Lariat, you have to add $7000 to get 300miles of range. So I've pretty much eliminated that...
I’ve seen it before and it’s one of the bigger features I like since I already have a roof top tent. I think I read that the rails are rated for 250lbs dynamic loading, which is very important when off roading. My RTT is too big to put it up on the bed, but it’ll fit perfectly upon the roof.
Marques was the first to notice that the Lightning was reporting significantly high range that Ford has announced. He was the first to report that Ford was quoting their range numbers with 1000lbs of cargo in the truck.
I enjoy MKBHD’s tech and car reviews. He’s one of the most honest...
