    Gear guard cable won’t lock/unlock

I use the gear cable looped through RockyMount fork mounts on a Saris triple track. My only goal is to keep a casual thief walking off with the triple track and mounts. I leave this in the exposed bed at all times.

Snow / ice chains on a quad R1T?

I don’t plan on ever using my AutoSocks. I just have a pair in the truck to comply with the law in some areas in California.

Taking my R1T from Santa Clarita to Mammoth next week. What to expect?

Always charge to 70% or higher if needed. Charging slows down after reaching 70%. Check the charger location’s ratings on PlugShare and look at the recent reviews. You may need to charge to a higher level than 70% in Bishop if you won’t be charging in Mammoth. I don’t have experience yet with...

Taking my R1T from Santa Clarita to Mammoth next week. What to expect?

Here is what ABRP shows. I dont know if using multi-stop routing in the Rivian app (latest vehicle and app version) will automatically pre-condition the battery for each charging stop. I sure hope so. The chargers in Mammoth are mostly restricted to patrons according to PlugShare.

Taking my R1T from Santa Clarita to Mammoth next week. What to expect?

My son (LA) frequently goes rock climbing out there in an R1S and he only charges at the RANs at Inyokern, Olancha, and Bishop. He never has a problem. Does your lodging have a charger or 14-50 socket?

    What fits in gear tunnel?

Cycling gear bag with helmet, shoes, gloves, plastic grocery bag that I use as a vest, arm warmers, knee warmers, some bike tools, floor pump, etc. The gear tunnel is great. It is even better than the camp speaker.

Software Update 2023.46.0 is rolling out

Multi-stop lets you be the final arbiter of where stops are located instead of the app. That lowers the possibility of wonky directions to only between stops. If you wanted, you could add a ā€˜stop’ at any location to help force the route to go through that point. You also get to store the ā€˜trip’...

Software Update 2023.46.0 is rolling out

I haven’t noticed any problems with bugs since I updated. I’ve played around with multi-stop route planning and I really like planning out, and saving the trip well before I start the trip. I’m looking forward to my Bay Area to Bend, Oregon road trip this month. I feel it is a big improvement...

Software Update 2023.46.0 is rolling out

I did a 'trip' from home -> coffee shop-> grocery store -> home After each stop, the center screen displays a dialog asking if you want to resume the trip. That all worked great. But one segment still had a rather wacky route instead of what I would do. I did my preferred route on that segment...

"In service" notice won't clear in app or in R1T

How did the Service Center staff who brought the vehicle to the parking spot at the Center not notice this? Someone had to drive it out of the service bay. Is this notification small? Hidden in some off screen menu? Asking for a friend who just had the air conditioner recall done this week.

    Afraid To Use Driver+

I’ve had the same issue with road construction barriers where the truck would feel like it was steering towards the barrier. I take over the steering. The lines are not messed up in this area (I80 Eastbound just before the Redtop exit) I don’t feel comfortable using Driver+ lane keeping in...
