Insurance increase- loss of Multi-car discount

Three years ago when I bought my Rivian R1S, I purchased the insurance directly from Rivian. Of course this is nationwide on the back end.
At the time, I also added my other vehicle to the policy. Price seemed competitive.

Last month I sold the other vehicle and as a result my Rivian policy went UP by $700.
I understand multi-car discounts but this is ridiculous.
I will be shopping around.

That’s insane. I get losing the multi car discount, but a $700 increase after removing a vehicle makes zero sense. Definitely worth shopping around, a lot of people are finding better rates outside the Rivian/Nationwide setup lately.
