Still trying to figure out how to slowly maneuver the truck when trying to align a trailer. The throttle is so touchy that it makes it difficult to move the truck "inches" as it tends to "lunge" when depressing the accelerator. Wish Rivian would create the throttle characteristic to allow you let the vehicle to "creep". Unfortunately they removed your ability to actually put the vehicle into tow mode. I believe something has to be plugged into the hitch plug for the truck to enter tow mode.

Snow mode and rock crawl mode do this. I got used to the throttle in a couple minutes though, on my first trailering attempt.

What I never got used to is lack of CarPlay/lack of usable phone integration for anything other than music (and that's not good either). So I added it. Everything else was easy, and quickly better than ICE.

How to move forward or backwards less than a foot.

The throttle is not sensitive enough at the null position to feather the power very slightly. it ends up being jerky motion.

Need free roll before going on stop hold under 5mph.

The one thing I still can master is the turn signal. I overcorrect almost every time trying to turn off the blinker and then it goes to the opposite blinker. Wish it utilized the convention 3 position functionality like most cars. I must look drunk half the time with my left right left right indications 🤦‍♂️

The sheer size of the vehicle. Parking, lane changing, running over stuff. All that

All the female attention. They won't leave me alone.

On a serious note-the mind warping amount of power vs. the size of the suv. I come from a long line of small sports cars and even after two years, my mind just cant accept it.

The turn signals, and I'm still not used to them.

It's funny; all that you outlined are all the things that I have grown to take as normal. When they gave me the Nissan Leaf rental for a week, and then I went back to the Rivian, I had to relearn all those marvelous features like the OPD.

I think the one thing that I still am having a hard time with is that... the R1T is still a considerably larger vehicle than it feels. At times, I feel like I am trying to park an aircraft carrier if the space is not accommodating. It's just a nit, and I compromise by searching out the larger parking spaces where I can. I find that I use the cameras for aligning a lot more often.

I thought the R1 vehicles felt bigger when parking and then got a Silverado EV rental for a few weeks. When I got my R1S back, it felt like driving a Miata. Made me appreciate it a lot more lol
