Why are all the R1S LA Silver??? The two deliveries in Dec were but all these images cannot be the same two across the country, right?

Back in the late fall I posted a picture of a half dozen or so R1S, all in silver, outside of the plant. I suspect what we’re seeing now are those late pre production prototypes.

Not to continue pushing this thread from pictures, but QC concerns are part of the reason I don't have a Tesla. And I'm not someone who particularly cares about panel gaps. But if they effect the way doors open/close or they start to make noise, that's an issue for me.

I am not planning on buying a Ford MachE, but those that have bought them, no one complains about paint or fit or finish. In general those buyers are pretty satisfied with what their eye can see.

Now maybe they don't like the range, or the software, etc, but in general the Ford MachEs appear to be "screwed together" well. (Now if you are TEsla FanBoy you will claim they are junk, even if you have never sat in one)

I don't think it's misaligned. I think the upper tailgate is convex, and the lower tailgate is concave, creating a place to reach under and lift the tailgate.

It's more obvious on the second-to-last picture.
