New to rivian ownership. Is there an advantage to using the RAN network over Tesla SC?
I always prefer the RAN. For me it’s a combination of brand loyalty, reliability and the vibe of the users. I will often go several miles out of my way for RAN vs others. Specifically at Telsa the reliability is great but the functionally/availability is a bit of a challenge with the location of charging port on my Riv.

Take this for what it’s worth… during my gas/diesel years, i always prefered chevron. Just a creature of habit i guess.

During a recent trip to Mammoth, went to this RAN three times and the charging speed was disappointing. Max speed was 120kw, but two other visits resulted in only 70kw Max. No other vehicles present and I tried several different stations.

Gave up after 15 minutes and went to the Tesla station down the street which provides “normal” speed of 150 to 200kw.
