Only 4908 carefree miles of driving. I've charged in Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon w/o any issues.
My latest road trip was this past weekend. It was only about 520 miles. We headed out of Portland with a final destination of Monument, OR (population 178). Stopped to charge up to 98% in Madras using the 62.5 kW chargers there w/o any issues (well, the was one issue: @kylealden parked next to me and I wasn't sure which truck was mine for a half a second).
Round trip from Madras to Monument is about 247 miles of winding rolling hills. Honestly some of the most fun roads i have ever driven anywhere, and the scenery was *chef's kiss*. We easily covered the 247 miles and got back to Madras with about 35 miles of range left (drove in conserve lowest at 55-65 mph, full AC the whole drive - AT 20s).
Got up Sunday and charged up to 50% or so (same chargers in Madras, zero issues) and headed to the Elk Meadows trailhead on Mt. Hood for what was supposed to be a 10 mile trail run, but got turned around by a good amount of snow and shortened it to 6 miles.
Hopped in the truck and decided that I wanted a bit more buffer than the 14 miles the GPs was predicting I'd have left when I got home so we stopped at the EA in Sandy for a quick charge (no issues) and I extolled the virtues of the R1T to a couple of Tesla owners who were using the superchargers.
Didn't get any Chipotle, but we did hit the Dairy Queen in Damascus for some lunch before the last little bit home.
