How To Tell Your Rivian Needs a Soft Reboot?

Was trying out a couple of things today before taking the Rivian on a long road trip later this week with my partner and two friends. I noticed that Gary (Gear Guard) hadn’t popped up with videos to show me in the last few days.

Also tried to cool down the truck while it was parked in my driveway. Even though I told the app to start cooling down, it would never actually cool. So, with these two issues, I thought, ”I bet the truck needs a reboot”. Did the soft reboot (outside buttons on scroll wheel). Once I did that, Gary started recording again and I could control the climate system from the app.

What other indicators are out there that a reboot is necessary?

Reboot whenever it does something it shouldn't do or doesn't do something it should. Today's example for me was in checking out a Lectron Tesla to J1772 adapter on a HPWC. The charger was set for 34A and initially the truck showed that but would only let me reduce from that level and eventually both + and - greyed out and I couldn't change from 8A. Soft reboot and everything was back to normal.
