I cancelled my rez (#1063) this week after 2.5 years waiting. And I found it interesting that in the feedback survey on the app, they never asked WHY I was canceling.

I suppose that punctuates the kind of car mftr hubris that I thought Rivian was above. Most don't seem to care if you buy their vehicle or not. The best ones listen to customers and act upon their feedback.

I'm still waiting for mine, but my son and daughter-in-law (her car) just found out she's getting her R2 on September 1st. They reserved the R2 on day one of reservations. They were waiting for September to October to place the order, but three weeks ago they were told one to two weeks to order time. And yesterday they ordered it.

Never had a Rivian, and live about five miles from the Del Mar, CA space. Catalina Cove, and 20 inch tires (I believe). Black interior. External financing.

Weird. I canceled today (just not big enough, going with an R1T) and the survey asked me why, along with a few other questions. They must have updated their survey.

Son and Daughter-in-law had theirs delayed two days, and got it today! They're busy, so won't see it until Labor Day. Pretty exciting times. Now, to wait four to six months for delivery just got harder.

Just added my order to the form. 3/7/24 reservation. Got invitation to order 9/1/26. Test drive 9/2/26. Placed order 9/3/26.
