Trying to decide between the Rivian all-weather mats, LinerX, and potentially 3D MAXpider mats for the R2. I’ve seen some complaints that the Rivian mats don’t provide as much coverage, while LinerX seems to extend higher around the edges.

For those who have used these brands: Is LinerX actually better material/quality, or is the main advantage just the extra coverage? Does LinerX look bulky/plasticky in person? How do the 3D mats compare—do they have a more sleek/sporty, OEM-like look while still providing better coverage?

I’m in Florida, so mostly dealing with rain and normal daily use—not snow, salt, or heavy mud. Would the Rivian mats be plenty for that?

Lastly, I’m getting Coastal Cloud interior. Thoughts on the yellow Rivian logo on the OEM mats with that interior—nice accent or does it clash?

Cargo liner experience appreciated as well

I’m not familiar with any of these so insight would be helpful.

I really like the look of the OEM floor mats; that's what I would get if I wanted all weathers (which I would definitely want with CC interior). I think the yellow logo looks nice. But the regular mats aren't carpeted, and seem easy to wipe off with a damp towel, so I'm personally not going to bother with all weathers.

I ordered LinerX, first time so hopefully they are decent. I do like the look of the oem floor mats but will get destroyed in 1 Midwest winter.

I personally didn’t want to pay a premium for the Rivian mats when they don’t even cover a lot of high contact areas on the drivers side, as shown below.

Haven't seen any release info for R2 for 3D Spider mats, if or when they'll be available, but I've never been a fan of them for my prior vehicles bc of the branding on the mats. That's a no go for me. I've never used LinerX personally either but they seem like a local family business, first to the market for R2 mats (I have yet to see anyone else even say coming soon for R2 mats), mats are full coverage, and the pricing isn't bad. So I'm willing to give them a try.

Very happy with the LinerX mats in our R1S after over three years of use.

I've had 3D Spider Mats on 3 cars and I will keep going back to them. They make the sleekest mats and they cover all the needed areas. I just wish they were a bit faster to market with their products.

While on the subject of 3D mats...if there are any 3D reps in these forums....please, please, please make your rear cargo (trunk) mats to cover those large, exposed wheel well bumps that have the cheap, easy to scratch plastic.

Any recommendations for good aftermarket floor mats? I really don’t care for the material/texture of the Rivian floor mats and I don’t like the contrasting color against the black carpet (if going with Coastal Cloud).

Call me old fashioned but I like a simple color matched carpeted floor mat.

ahh My bad. Honestly I had not looked into carpeted options. Good luck!

Rivian won't sell you the OEM Black Crater mats?
