Update on R2 order invitation timing now in account

The 2-4 week estimate replaced the Dec-February range for me. Shows up in the same place in account page and app, etc. they’ve also emailed and texted that info when it has changed.

Day 1 reservation. Received my updated order timeline one week ago that said I could order in 2-4 weeks. Today, one week later, my order invitation arrived. It appears the order invites are going out sooner than anticipated. I ordered the Esker Silver & 21” wheels; estimated delivery in 8-12 weeks. Hope this helps others feel a bit less anxious. I placed my deposit in late July and was just informed that I can place my order in the November-December time frame. According to my sales rep, the Launch Package will be offered until the end of the year - does anyone know if Rivian will honor the Launch Package since my build date will be some time in Feb/March?

I don't mind waiting as I see them work through a few owner issues before I get mine. Having said that, the longer I wait, the more miles I will be accumulating on my trade-in so the more I will have to pay at delivery...

Same here, no change on my Aug-Sept window. I did see some people posting on reddit last week who got invites who also saw no updates and were Aug-Sept, so not all hope is lost

I saw the estimated delivery date at the bottom of the order page BEFORE hitting the order button. As you stated, I do not see it now on any of the screens or emails. Glad I caught it, but sorry that we can’t see it now. My apologies fellow traveler.

I’m guessing the color you selected will need to be manufactured while those getting invites have a vehicle readily available that matches their saved favorite. I suspect that is why I secured a much earlier delivery than anticipated. They might also be trying to balance out delivery loads on SCs based on delivery location. I’m getting a delivery through Oklahoma City, not exactly a hot bed of EV ownership. Of course this is merely conjecture.

Yes, it has helped to give them lease information as they are prioritizing expiring leases to some degree. No guarantees.

Color I selected? I haven't been invited to order yet -- it says I won't be invited until August-September.

I’m in Bozeman MT, 10 minutes from Montana’s only SC. Popular for Rivians here in town but to my knowledge haven’t been any deliveries near me yet. Also Catalina Cove so not exactly an exotic color hahah. Just hoping for an update soon since I’m within the 4-8 week window at this point.
