Knightdale NC service center and running boards removal required?

I have seen that some service centers charge for/require removal of running boards prior to service. Does anyone have any experience with the Knightdale service center in this regard? Thanks.

Knightdale does NOT require running boards to be taken off before service.

Only exception would be if they needed to access something that the running board was in the way.

No.

My R1T has running boards. No they didn't require removal.
I had <60000 mile comprehensive inspection and later suspension warranty repair.

Just had my 2024 LE Quad in for half shaft replacements.

No running board removal required.

My 2023 R1T is going in for some light service work tomorrow. I asked to have a comprehensive inspection ($200 cost) since this truck is new to me, including checking out the suspension. The Shepherdsville KY SC told me they’d have to remove my running boards to use the lift, at an additional cost of $200 (they also don’t reinstall them so I’d have to do that myself.) I declined.
Kind of an odd thing to require removal when all the Jack points are readily accessible. Maybe I’m missing something.

Just stupidity and lack of clear direction from Rivian. When I had my first tonneau cover replacement, they told me they were going to charge $200 to remove the cargo rails I installed.

WHICH ARE HELD IN THE STOCK HOLES and the bolts they have to remove anyway. IDIOTS. I went and removed them in two minutes--again, hardware they would have to remove anyway.

Today I dropped it off for my second cover replacement. I left the rails on purposely. I want to see if the fuckery continues.
