So I have a perfect solution for anyone who needs to monitor snow and ice in their normal routines. It's what I'd do for sure. This right here

And guys .... mp3, seriously? Just save it on your phone and connect to a bluetooth speaker. Why you would want the car to have that capability is .. antiquated.
If I could control the music player that is on my phone through the Rivian screen, then sure. Even though the sounds is crap with the current BT codex.
However, rummaging through the music app on my phone while driving through the mountains (where I can't stream) is downright dangerous. ...But good music is worth that risk, right?
So yes - USB/ MP3 for me. Everything on a thumb drive that I can pick from the screen. Simple and better sounding than current BT.

My state has all that in an app/URL, I'm told. Yours probably does too. I don't use it, but was actually part of deploying some of it. az511.com I think.
That doesn't work without cell service, which is half my state unless on interstate

real AM/FM radio for emergency and local information (no - streaming doesn't work if you don't have cell service, which is a lot of off-interstate areas in the mtns), Real satellite Sirus radio (for the same reasons) would be second choice. Seriously, radio is basic tech, why are they taking it away? or include starlink, but I don't want to pay for all that, when AM/FM is already floating on the breeze.

Given the plethora of threads about AM/FM support, satellite radio, crappy Bluetooth, etc, I figured it is time for a poll on which one people most care about.

We all want our own preferred media source, but it's also unrealistic for Rivian to include all of the options.

If you could choose one additional media source, what would it be?
Put me down for real satellite radio with the antenna and radio hardware. Not an app that runs on cellular. R2 is marketed as able to go anywhere. Cellular services do not go anywhere. I’ve had real satellite radio in my vehicle since 2015 and needed it many times.
