When folded, can you open the hatch? Is so what distance will the hatch be from the rack?
Maybe when you get chance, could you show a profile picture showing the hatch been a little ajar. Thnx.
Not sure and it was just during the test drive so I don't have the ability to check any more. Sorry.

Do you think you would have been able to open the hatch without the need to lower it, in the case of the single bike rack?
I *think* so, but honestly was short on time and didn’t check. Might hit the Equip’D’s handle? The Equip’D is so easy to put down it wasn’t top of mind. Sorry.

I have the single rack and the bolt on extension on my RAV4 and the tailgate
does not hit when it's the single rack. I leave that on all the time and add the
second only when I take another bike. It will definitely hit with the two bike
configuration.
I do the same exact thing on my CX-5. Hopefully I can run with the single tray on my R2 the same way.
