California Genuine Rivian Key Band (wristband) For Sale

If you are looking at this, you probably know about these.​

Originally intended for Launch Edition R1 vehicles (in 2022-23), they should also work with all Gen 1 R1Ts and R1Ss. There is also anecdotal evidence from owners (and unofficially from Rivian staff) that they work with Gen 2 vehicles. However, I have not personally determined that.

Convenient for wet-area and other outdoor activities where you'd rather not carry another type of key.

The Rivian Service Center in West Sacramento, California recently confirmed that this "ZZ" ID-numbered Rivian key band is not paired to another vehicle.

I am asking a firm $175 (less than I paid).

Hmm. Strange. I have a bookmark in my browser with that web address that still takes me to the correct pdf page. So I just copied that web address verbatim. But you are right, when I copy and manually click on that address, it doesn't work(?).

I have replaced the address with the full one from the iFixit dot com site, https://documents.cdn.ifixit.com/u5uZUb2XuCCOOnbS.pdf. That seems to work, at least for now.

Readers: In the future, if any Key Band link fails, you can try Googling something like "rivian key band activation guide" and hopefully a working address will be made available.

There is also information about the original key band contained, for example, in the Rivian R1S Owners Guide (May 22, 2023) and the Rivian R1T Owners Guide. (May 27, 2024).
