Well, it’s been fun… in between the fixes
Reasonably long post given I struggle to make comments as concise as others that I’ve seen, as a heads up!
So, I’ve had my ups and downs with Rivian over my period of leasing as far as serviceability, some reoccurring or not quite fixed but deemed acceptable to them. Coupled with the average wait time to even get it in to the shop and then the hour plus to get there has resorted me to get a buyback from them.
I thought it was manageable but i find myself booking my next appointment in shortly after I get the last resolved. For the cost of the in vehicle I just don’t think it’s right (again, for me anyway).
So, once I figure out how to post items for sale officially in the appropriate area, ideally local pickup from Temecula area. But I’ll ship it if you think the cost is worth it to you.
Here’s what I have that I’ll be putting up for sale soon as a heads up… also, I’m an idiot as it turns out I’m living in the future with the date I’m showing
is it ok, or do I have to wait? Based in Nashville TN.
Let me know if you’re interested as an “early bird”, otherwise I’ll work my way through advertising as we go separately to this in the right area with the photos etc.
To note, I think the truck is great, in every way with the exception of I just can’t find the time or energy to keep getting the items resolved. I like Rivian’s ethos on vehicles but I think I slot into them when they are a little more established and “refined” than what they are now.
I would always recommend one to someone else, despite the difficulties I had - sounds like there are also plenty of people here without any faults at all!
For me… not 100% sure which direction I want to go in currently at the time of writing this… shopping around I guess.
Cool community so I’ll probably linger to observe and see how the updates come along each month.
Thanks everyone!
