Looking to see if anyone has an experience to share driving and/or camping with their Rivian on PINS? Plenty of charging options in Corpus including a compatible Tesla SC. I was thinking of charging up there then heading in, possibly all the way to Yarborough Pass and camping a couple of nights sometime in October. Obviously I will doing my diligence on tides and weather to make sure there is no risk of getting into the water. Thanks for you input.

No, unfortunately I didn’t make it. Apparently not many others on this thread have done it either. I ended up changing jobs and I am now relocating to Anchorage, AK! Trying to figure out it I should bring the R1T or sell it? People have them up there but you are pretty isolated, many, many miles from any service center. Lots of issues with the cold.

Thanks! I'm on 22"s so a bit worried about the soft sand. If I go, I'll be sure to convoy with someone else.

Good luck in AK!

Its pretty easy. Just look ahead at high and low tide charts. Air down tires and have some traction mats handy also if you can. A shovel as well would be beneficial. But even if your stuck just have a tow strap handy and someone will drive by. No cell service so make sure you download a map (offline google maps/ OnX)
