Not sure if it's really Rivian's fault. I'd blame DOR. Maybe all of us can protest at the DOR office. :D

I spoke with Rivian customer service today and they referred me to the owner's manual. It does have the GVWR. Rivian did not have a separate document from the manual with the GVWR.

The Denver Service Center just fixed my center console USB-C ports. Turned out one of the cords connecting the center console USB-C ports to the main screen was bad. The whole center console plus some had to be opened up to replace the cord. Went from a 2.7 hour estimate to a 2 day project.

The income test you are referring to does not apply if you use the binding agreement by amending the '22 tax return. edit: if you file for the '23 tax return, then the binding agreement does not apply, and the income test is applicable.

My center console usb-c ports don't work either. Tried chargers and setting up a memory card. All the other usb-c ports work, and my charging pad works. Set up a service center visit for later in January after doing a recommended reboot to see if it fixed the problem.

After calling four shops in the Denver area, it seems the price for Xpel front 1/4 is about $2,500 and another $2,000 for the four doors. There was a youtuber that did full body matte in north Denver and it was $7500. Forget if there was any window tint or ceramic added.

Status update: turns out the R1S was in fact at the Maryland service center, and Rivian is now sending it to the Denver service center.
