  1. 780 Mile R2 Road Trip - Comfortable Ride, Problematic Software, Frustrating Data

A majority of the chargers I was charging at were Tesla 250 kWh superchargers. The final charging stats showed the R2 would peak around 190-195 kWh, and then by time the charge was ended it typically averaged around 180 kWh. I only charged at 1 V4 supercharger and did not notice much of an...
  2. Range Monitor Issue - R2 stops tracking energy data around 450 miles

This weekend I finished a ~1600 mile round trip road trip in my R2. On the way to my destination, I had noticed that somewhere around 450 miles the Energy Monitor tab stopped tracking the amount of energy used. It was counting the miles, and it was updating my average speed, but my mi/kWh...
  3. 780 Mile R2 Road Trip - Comfortable Ride, Problematic Software, Frustrating Data

It's a great car and a lot of fun to drive! It's a very smooth and quiet ride, even at highway speeds. The actual driving experience I really have nothing negative to say, and that's most important to me since I drive 60-70 miles a day for work. I fell into the group that believed at highway...

To be fair, all of my Teslas were AWD, except for the Y. The Y was the Premium RWD. I didn't like the way the RWD drove. So that could contribute to my feelings. I actually only had the Y for about 6 months before I sold it. I think the R2 has a better fit/finish than the Y, and I think the...
  6. 780 Mile R2 Road Trip - Comfortable Ride, Problematic Software, Frustrating Data

Hello! I haven't noticed any issue with this. I have free charging from 11p-6a but on the weekends when I get in to go out around 10a-11a it's where I expect it to be 4-5 hours after charging would have stopped, if not more. At work from the time I park it until I get back in to go home is...
  7. 780 Mile R2 Road Trip - Comfortable Ride, Problematic Software, Frustrating Data

Thanks for the reply! It varied quite a bit over the course of the trip, there sections that were 50 mph, all the way up to 75 mph. There was also a short 15 minute drive off the highway to get to the charger because the road was closes for construction, I had to loop around at about 45 mph...

I honestly don't know the answer to that. It never crossed my mind. Here is what the specific data for one of the drives looks like.

  11. 780 Mile R2 Road Trip - Comfortable Ride, Problematic Software, Frustrating Data

This isn't a scientific, controlled test. It's simply my experience from one long road trip. If you like numbers, they're about halfway down the post. You could probably also copy the whole thing, post it into your favorite AI chat and ask it to summarize it for you. Trip Details Rivian R2...
