After the Autonomy Day, has anyone been tracking which Autonomy+ features will be enabled on Gen 1 vehicles?
The most interesting part of this video was at 15:30, asking question about backward compatibility.
It sounded like some Autonomy+ feature will also be available on Gen 1 for free. Is...
Came across this driving model comparisons.

I am using "Falling Phoenix" and " Live Learning Lateral Delay " enabled. And it is still right lane bias in some occasions.
I believe some owners have reported here that their vehicles are running stock setups (without Comma.ai). I'm curious if we can differentiate between reports from owners never installed Comma versus those using Comma.ai, to help with troubleshooting.
Hi @oskeei , could you share details about the original CAN issue or symptom you experienced?
Was the solution related to fixing a loose Comma.ai plug connected to the onboard AXM?
There has been growing discussions over whether autonomous driving updates will only be limited exclusively to Gen2 Rivian vehicles. I also believe that if Rivian fails to deliver the promised hands-free driving features in Gen1 Driver+, it could lead to a Class Action Lawsuit for false...
Looks awesome! Comma.ai just embarrassed Rivian’s Driver+. While Rivian owners are still stuck waiting on a proper hands-free driving - time to take notes, Rivian. ?
As the early adopter of the R1S Gen1, I was also excited by the promise of future-proof hardware and the enhanced Driver+ features via software updates when taking delivery. However, up to this point, the current state of Driver+ is a major disappointment. While we didn’t expect Tesla-level Full...
@chi-chi, I was dry fitting the panels after the running board brackets were installed on the car. Eyeballing and marking with a pencil where to cut, then cut the slots with the Dremel cut-off wheels. I have put 3M exterior weather tape to cover the holes.
Mine was fixed at the local Rivian service center. The following is the note from the service center.
Cause:
- Found charge port door sleeve damage as well as retainer. Replaced with new sleeve and
retainer and verify it closes flush with facia
I recently installed the EVBASE running boards (can find details in my other post). I'm pleased with the outcome, especially considering $500 shipped after the discount.
In contrast, my experience with the $1,000 EV Sportline was less favorable. Despite waiting for months to ship, and the rust...
Just finished installing the EVBASE running boards. And I'm quite satisfy with the quality and outcome.
For a smoother installation, I was using the "TP55" bit and impact wrench. Despite using the impact wrench, 1 of the 6 bolts required extra effort to turn.
Additionally, I took the time...
This is happening to me. The charge door open/close functions work, but it doesn't hold in place. Meaning I can pull the cover out by hand or it could get blown opened by wind. Anyone has experienced this.
(The next available service appt is a few weeks out)
We use the 3rd row often and been struggling the same that the 2nd row doesn't slide back far enough when clicked.
I had an idea to use something to block the first few holes on the floor track. Basically disabling the first few clicks of the seats that are unusable anyway.
