  1. Grabber HTS60 vs. all. Why not more popular?

I'm on my second set of Grabbers. Went from the 21's to 20's and put on the Grabbers. So far so good, efficiency was as good as the 21's, maybe a touch higher. Rides great, tows great. Got about 40k out of them before was getting close to the wear bars.
  2. 12V Battery Replacement Megathread

It worked for me for a few days, but that's it before I got my batteries swapped. Just left the tender leads hooked up and ran the tender wires into the frunk to be plugged in. Funny enough, I was plugged into L1 charging at 8 amps overnight while the tender was on, and managed to get...
  3. 12 Volt Demons Caught Up With The Count

Had mine done yesterday. You'd think pricing would be consistent across all of us Gen 1 owners, but it does not appear so. Original batteries from June 2022 delivery.
  4. 12V Battery Replacement Megathread

Update: Shelton CT just called and agreed to help me out today. Heading down now. Man, I wish I could just buy the batteries and do it myself. Would take me 30 minutes tops. Already been in there to hook up a battery tender to keep the thing alive for now.
  5. 12V Battery Replacement Megathread

Yup, add me to the list. Mine is warning to get them replaced ASAP. And of course I have a road trip at the end of the week scheduled and none of the service centers within 100 miles can help so far. And the Ohhmu batteries are out of stock.
  6. Rivian causing Spotify to pause on other devices while parked?

Has been happening ever since I got my truck. As will happen if I open my truck door. Gets annoying. And good luck trying to leave your truck playing music while you aren't in it. Unless you leave a door open, it refuses to play on Spotify for more than 1/2 second.
  7. 2026.07 Software Update notes - features & fixes coming

What the base model Nissan Sentra rental the SC gave me for a month had for infotainment functionality.
  8. Motorcycle Hauling Trip with R1T -- Good news for the bike folks!

I strap right to the triple with nylon loops. Picked up a set of steel folding ramps at Harbor Freight which fit nicely in the gear tunnel. Have hauled a few bikes in the back, but generally they end up in the toy hauler, so I haven't needed to often. I've considered doing my R1250GSA, but...
  9. Charging with a generator when boon docking

You can make your own bonding plug for a generator if you are going to charge via 120v. Super easy, and is less than $5, all in.
  10. Group Buy/Purchase for a Rivian Service Account with Access to RiDE Software Salvage Titles where are you?

It's less effort to just move to the next thread than post something like this. Thanks for going out of your way to make this community less helpful.
  11. Plug & Charge with Electrify America and IONNA - coming in next update

I'd really like to see pricing per kWh up front on all charging results. Right now it's a bit of digging to see if we're going to be paying the equivalent of $1.99/gallon or $7.86/gallon to fill up.
  12. Anyone towing 6,500 lbs or more with any regularity?

With the weights up there on a trailer, having it in soft means you're tail will be oscillating bit on bumps.
  13. Anyone towing 6,500 lbs or more with any regularity?

I regularly tow a toy hauler that comes in at 9500 fully loaded, 12-15 times a year. It'll do it fine, just be aware that you really should run your suspension on firm at all times. And yes, range takes a big hit, especially above 50mph. I get about 1mi/kwh unless I'm pushing air on the...
  14. New Service Menu coming to make owner DIY repairs & maintenance easier

Batteries, brakes, suspension. That's really what we need to be able to work on.
