Well, to be fair, we aren't talking about one of these anymore:
But, on a Rivian, a part with two tone plastic painted aero, step motors, cameras, lighted blind spot indicators, entry spot light, Heaters(?) and other sensors(?) plus associated wiring, harness and connectors -- so there's all...
I asked the assistant what battery pack I had installed, it incorrectly said I had the large pack twice in a row, the second time after I told it I had the max pack installed. It acknowledged the error, apologized for it, then repeated the error. Curious.
Several friends agree that both the...
I love the forest edge interior, how I wish it had been available when I ordered my R1T last year. But. Let me reiterate a previous post:
In defense of silver, it is the best color for hiding dirt. But I agree this generation loves monochrome. ā¦.
Then again, I lived through the entire decade...
Itās a sneezeāandāyou-missāit remark at about 9:35 minutes in.
Whatās curious about including Rivian in this monologue is that comedy of this type relies on the audience knowing or understanding the reference that you make. Now, in California, where this show is recorded, Rivianās are fairly...
Itās an interesting article, Rivian seems to be keeping its LiDAR supplier a secret, denying that itās Chinaās Robosense, while Robosense has all but fingered Rivian as a key customer.
I find it somewhat incredulous that Rivian continues to say that the LiDAR R2 will be shipping by the end of...
So, if I understand correctly, the 411 on the 1st Gen R2 is that the BEV SUV has 5G, V8 power without the CO2, RWD or AWD with AT or AS tires, a Gen 2 AI software stack at launch, but Gen 3 hardware perhaps as early as Q4, but more likely Q1+ (but will Rivan FAB chip RAP1 powering ACM3 with...
Silly engineers, they always assume people will, for instance, buy the extension walls, take the time to install them temporarily, ensure they are latched securely according the detail instruction manual before loading any cargo -- rather than simply throw it in the back and tell junior to hold...
I believe MI has more RAN chargers than the rest of the midwest combined. Even in IL, where Rivians are born, there's just 2 in the whole state, and not one in or near Chicago, the third largest city in the entire country. Ponder that for a minute.
Let me guess, 90% of the new chargers are in California within a few miles of existing RAN chargers. ;)
Crickets in the far northern planes and in a wide band along the Ohio river to the Mississippi. And everyone always forgets about Alaska and Hawaii.
I bought an R1T last August.
It is my only vehicle.
I charge it once or twice a week at home on a level two charger. I rarely charge it to 100% as it is a max pack with 420 miles of range, and you can extend the life of your battery if you donāt keep it at 100% all the time. Charging to 50 to...
