Since no one really knows what the LE R2 will be worth on the used market in 3 years, isn't it a safer bet to lease, and let the resale be the responsibility of the leasing company?

Which is why, IMHO, the smart way to get the LE R2 is to lease it, that way, upgrading to the new model with LIDAR etc. is relatively easy.

I am certain there are quite a few amateur radio operators who want R2s, and would love to easily integrate their mobile rigs as well. Looks like we need a bit of collaboration here...
