You can get power frunk installed aftermarket on a Model Y for about $1k, half that if you DIY. It integrates with the screen and app, you can pop it and close it as if it were factory. Maybe something like that will be made for R2
As long as you can open it from the outside and it has hydraulic struts I'm fine with it. Now that Rivian has confirmed Youtube music is coming on reddit ama, the fixed glass roof without sunshade is the only thing that's keeping me on the edge. Seriously even Chevy Blazer has a glass roof you...
It's my experience, not saying it's the gold standard but if you look at top complaints about model Y Juniper, it's still ride quality. Edmunds doesn't count since they're in California where all cars ride comfortably. Just look:

This is not true at all, only Tesla picks different sources for different years. RAV4 beat Tesla in 2024 if you pick the same source Tesla quotes for winning 2025 for example (JATO)
I am only believeing what I personally experienced with ride quality across various cars including Y refresh. You saying "Tesla has leapfrogged the competition in ride quality, noise, etc" and defending Tesla at every opportunity already tells me everything I need to know about your dishonest...
The UItium vehicles I was in (including Honda prologue) had way better ride quality than any model Y I've ridden or driven, so you're wrong. Their forums don't complain about ride quality, yet even Juniper owners still do to this day. Legacy makers really know how to build a car, Tesla does...
It's maybe equivalent to a Toyota, or a GM (excluding Cadillac) but not Lexus or German luxury level. It can never be with those frameless windows. Ride comfort is noticably worse then all of them.
Maybe a huge difference from the 2021-2022 Y's , but not a big comfort leap from the HW4 2023 Y's that had the "comfort suspension". I've ridden them all, the Juniper is just a tad quieter compared to the HW4 legacy Y, with comfort being about the same. Both are vastly more comfortable than a...
No lane keep unless you pay $100 a month or 6k over 5 years. Teslas are horrible deals now. I don't care if FSD is better lane keeping for long drives is all you need. Tesla also realized this and paywalled it behind the 100/month payment.
No they don't really work. Phantom wipes are not the only problem. It either wipes too slow or too fast in rain as well. None of these would be an issue with an included 2$ rain sensor in every other car.
