  1. Golden CO to Missoula MT—r/t

Now do it while towing! šŸ˜…
  2. Are you using Tesla membership?

If I’m gonna hit more than one supercharger on a given road trip, I will just sign up and then immediately cancel my Tesla membership. That way it gets me set for one month and I don’t worry about an accidental renewal. Usually at least in the PNW the breakeven is about 115 kWh of charging **...
  3. Removing the "silver" on the bottom of the front/rear bumpers anyone?

Just do it. I had the idea in my head before dark package was even a thought for Rivian. If you want it - do it.

  5. Removing the "silver" on the bottom of the front/rear bumpers anyone?

Over three years ago, I paid someone to do this on my Compass yellow both front . I believe there are even pre-cut vinyl kits these days you can find *but maybe not yet for the R2 Three years later, still growing strong, just dirtier. your shop will be able to match your matte w/o issue -...
  6. First long-distance tow--questions and anxiety, plus coaching for ABRP?

It’s an InTech Sol Horizon way less aerodynamically efficient than your boat and weighs in at about 4,500lbs. I run 60-65 normally. And I play the - I don’t want to disconnect to charge game at most every stop.
  7. First long-distance tow--questions and anxiety, plus coaching for ABRP?

This is my trip to Rathdrum Idaho from North Seattle earlier this summer. My trailer gives me about 1.1 efficiency, we took highway 2 for part of it and it was a gorgeous drive over. And I see that priest Lake is north of Rathdrum. You should be totally fine.
  8. Alternate options for alignment and tire mounting in Connecticut?

When Rivian does an alignment- supposedly there is a level they set the suspension to between low and standard so that it’s a good alignment at both of those common stances. That is what I was specifically referring to. Other shops can absolutely do in a Rivian alignment if they have the...
  9. Alternate options for alignment and tire mounting in Connecticut?

If you have your own, Lift Pucks, any tire shop can swap and balance your tires. Alignment is a tougher one since Rivian doesn’t allow non-service center shops access to their proprietary ride height.
  10. Adaptive Cruise Control Improper Tire Size Detected

That make no sense at all. I have a set of 35x11.50 tires as an off-road set and I can use UHF/Autofollow without issue. I’d be concerned they ripped a sensor cable or something.
  11. R1S Denver to SoCal: 1,012 continuous miles, 3 charging stops

Did you tell the routing guidance to only leave 10% for your next stop? That will make it much more aggressive - you need to change its behavior there too as it’s quite conservative.
  12. Rivian Service Center balancing Hankook Ion HTs trouble

A normal tire shop would have been a much better and cheaper option for the mount and balance. That was a silly choice. As for the alignment- few independent shops align Rivian’s yet, so that tracks.
  13. R1S Denver to SoCal: 1,012 continuous miles, 3 charging stops

Charging over 80% sucks - that is one of the reasons the routing is the way it is. Your charge rate is so slow it often makes sense to find that next slightly closer charger rather than push through from 80% to higher SOC.
