The same noise from the heat pump on our 3 month old 2026 R1S Dual Max Performance. The compressor also has a vibration that you can feel in the steering wheel. Ours is currently at the Rivian Service Center (Bothell) starting today. I will report back what they determine. Here is a video...

The steering wheel slips downward slightly with a bit of a thunk after it moves and sets at the beginning of each drive. Here is a video.

This vibration and noise occurs in our 2026 R1S Dual Max Performance too. Here is a video of it. The noise shows up as a vibration in the steering wheel too. Along with several other noise and slipping steering wheel issues, I have added it as an issue to my Rivian Service Center ticket...

Just ordered the EV Sport Line Aluminum running boards along with the aluminum side covers and the front Rival aluminum skid plate on our 2026 R1S Dual Max Performance. I will be installing these over the holidays once I receive them from EV Sport Line.

I installed T-Wraps mudflaps on our new R1S. Pretty basic mudflaps, but they seems to help.

I We had the 1Up racks and they are great. Then I found the QuikR Mach 1 rack for our heavier e-bikes. Similar design, but tool less and heavier duty. Super happy with them. We use it on both our Rivian R1S and Tesla. Check them out here...
