Most people rarely use the frunk so a motorized frunk is not worth the expense in a vehicle that sells at middle of the market prices. Vehicles in a similar price class ie. MY, BMW iX3, Mach E etc do not have motorized frunks either.

Yes because that is when the replacement cycle starts...making the tires in an oddball size available right when the car is released makes no sense.

Rivian has openly said that the Lidar/new computer is coming around the end of 2026 and that the older cars will not be able to be retrofitted. Im not sure what else they can do.
