the regen is greatly reduced when I am driving in that 85-100% battery charge, and that feeling and setting of the regen would be perfect for snow conditions where I 'want' to turn it to that when I feel it's necessary, and I'm not worried about my battery life

Yes! My driver side is soo noisy I initially thought it was just going to be something I had to deal with, was having a hard time accepting it could be something 'wrong' with my new truck. When I sat in the passenger side while my SO was driving, it was 100% quieter so I knew something was off...
