I've got a friend who decided to cancel for a list of reasons, price was one of them. It was an overall value proposition; what do you get for your money, what capabilities you get/lose with each...
You are a bad consumer. Do you hate America? LOL.
I play mostly podcasts from a third party (CarPlay integrated) app that is ultra private, even more than I'd like as it limits my own visibility into my usage. And Apple Music which is ad free and also privatized to my own account as much as...
Right, there's a lot coming from the vehicle itself. I'm not sure what the carmakers want to know exactly, but it seems to be things like your actual searches. Because they want to sell ads and consumer data, and tell you where to go. You search for "hardware" and get told where to go instead...

Doesn't work for me, and others on this and other forums. Fail.
While I'm a very heavy AI agent user, it doesn't address the many things that CarPlay does. As just one of dozens of examples, some given above, my company phone...
What you're missing is that the Rivian fanatics have already told you that you don't need what Rivian doesn't give you. All drivers are the same, and they are the arbiters of what you "need." Listening to podcasts and books across platforms in your daily life is not necessary.
