Haha it isn't made up. I didn't say these things CAN'T be repaired or even repaired for a reasonable amount of money. However the insurance companies are not willing to pay for those repairs, the likely unseen damage that needs to be repaired, and the MANAGEMENT of dealing with those repairs...
Some quick answers based on my documents. I did get an assist from AI to summarize instead of me copying and pasting from the doc directly....
Is there an aggregate payout limit on the contract? Yes. Under Section VIII. General Provisions, sub-section #4 (Limit of Liability), the aggregate...
Yea, the second the airbags go it's over. Just the contamination of the interior from the airbags is enough.
I think that the problem here is the R2 probably made the damage look less severe than it was when you consider it was a hard enough hit to get the airbags out.
My kids are all teenagers now but we had two boosters and a car seat in the middle bench of our explorer and then three boosters in the R1S for years. Never were interested in giving up the cargo space of the third row. We eventually changed to one booster in the third row as the kids got bigger...

All these discussions about 100 miles of range one way or the other fade and will fade away as more charging and...

That is one bonus for the Rivian Care is that the mileage is unlimited, it's all based on years. Also they take the battery pack to 200K miles if within the term limit.
Since you can transfer the warranty we see it as good for us and a selling point for private sale so we are going to max out. Looking at the high deductibles our pricing for our 2023 R1S with 37k miles is
6 year 1k deductible $4804
7 year 1k deductible $5686
The price increases for the terms...
