Greg, dont move to the city. I did that for a girl and regret it daily. R2 just came out. Let the dust settle and see if it's worth switching from your R1. I see a lot of R1s around the city. Thanks for the great write-up. All the best.

I've wondered that too but, Germany has so many MB taxies and that hasn't seemed to impact the value of the cars.

I sometimes think that I would have been better served by getting a "grunt" SUV to do the Home Depot and grocery runs and keep a nice car for those special "Sunday morning" totally unnecessary drives. Cheers.

That would have been a very ingenious member that may have been caught mid-point by his wife because we were initially getting very detailed updates and then no one has heard from him since.

Sorry to hear about your issues, mate. I've owned my fair share of nice cars and the initial pick-up experience for my R1 was one of the best. My local SC has been consistently great. Car has been great too for the most part. I would escalate your issues with Rivian so that you have documented...

I just can't drive slow. There I've said it. You now know what my friends and family have long suspected-I'm addicted to speed! I'm half joking. I've tried to go slow but it's impossible with everyone flying by so, I just go with the flow of traffic. Have not been paying attention to the time...

I considered Alexa an added unexpected benefit. I used it to do very important things like opening and closing the frunk, which I very well could have done through the car itself. Then Rivian offered me two months of connect+. This was a very interesting experience. Perhaps my expectations were...

Shouldn't be that difficult to go to Ukraine and find the Rivian owner (j/k). Seriously, I understand the frustration but it's up to you to decide if your time is worth pushing this rock up that hill or not. IMHO I'd cut my losses and walk.

Tried to set the cruise above 85 the other day and it won't do it-so ya, a few people out there not driving 70.
