Another Rivian fan and pre-order holder tracked me down and we met up so that he could take a look at one in person. He already had his license plate reserved and lined up which created a bit of irony in the meantime :-)
That's why, there were already several people ahead of you at BaT wanting to list theirs without reserve. Rivian may have also reached out to Hearst and suggested they stop selling them. Maybe they threatened access to future vehicles for reviews, who knows. It's interesting that the auctions...
As the seller of this R1T I tried BaT. They said they had one in the works that would take 2 weeks to list and that mine would go on after that. So I reached out to C&B and we got it out in a manner of days, beating BaT to market.....they still haven't listed the one that was ahead of me...
I've thought about creating a whole bunch of swag to sell just because there's so much that I would love to have myself, but Rivian hasn't made available or taken the effort to design.
