I went through this whole rodeo and they never fixed it. Ended up suing and lemoning the vehicle. Don’t let them gaslight you that having a vibrating steering wheel driving around at 65mph is normal.
Rivian are morons and will refuse to fix anything. Get a lawyer. Process takes like 6-12 months but worth it to be free of an incompetently built vehicle
I lemoned mine in CA the laws pretty cut and dry also very consumer friendly. Reach out to lawyers who have dealt with Rivian lemons in mass and they’ll file the lawsuit before you know it. In CA I got every cent I paid on the vehicle back. Entire process takes like 6 months
In CA So for...
No I became disillusioned with EVs and just got a gas Mercedes which has been phenomenal
But let’s say Rivian would’ve gave me a new vehicle with the same deal i initially got and the vehicle was perfect, the actual SC I go to are total gas lighters and idiots so even if I had to do routine...
I lemoned mine because SC was unable to fix simple issues. Got every penny I paid on the vehicle back and got a competently built vehicle. Best decision I ever made
Mine was in the SC for a seemingly simple issue for a period totaling 30 days, once that day hit I called a lawyer and we sued. Rivian did a full buy back of the vehicle.
This was in CA but yeah the law is supposed to be consumer friendly so wouldn't be surprised if its similar across the US.
Least delusional post I’ve seen on here. The leasing process is completely obfuscated from the customer, you get some rough ball park from the site but you never know any specifics of what you’re approved for so you sit around twiddling your thumbs for weeks.
The docs mysteriously show up 1 day...
also before somebody calls me some elaborate troll heres my first thread on these forums from a year ago asking about the leasing process before I picked up my psychological torture machine
My lease terms were frantically drawn up at 11pm the evening before I was to take delivery. I should’ve took this as a sign… but yeah. Welcome to Rivian brother
This is more of a securities thing rather than maintenance but there’s a class action lawsuit currently in discovery for fraud during the IPO and lying about demand, curious…:
