Dang…haven’t been here a while…I missed out on the one that somebody here was making :(
I did ask a long time ago but any reply might have gone to my spam folder?
oh well…didn’t NEED it. :)
Funny enough, there is now an EA, a Tesla, and this Rivian station all in the same parking lot. It’s really overkill but still I guess a good problem
hoping charging like this become the norm and all the gas stations slowly go away or just evolve into charging stations
truthfully where I would...
Update: up and running!
I don’t fast charge except the two trips I took to Denver, so seems spendy? Home charging at night rates is the way to go :)
only did a super short test, but worked seemlessly with my Rivian account. Rate seems fine, but I’ve seen faster. Maybe it would speed up with...
Update: while still not up, the fence has come down.
the crazy thing, this same parking lot now is adding EA charging.
so this parking lot of a small out-door walking mall now has 15 Tesla charging stations, and is adding 6 EA stations, and 6 Rivian chargers.
all within 100 feet of each other.
So: went by today and I don’t think much, if anything, has been done.
Well except that our famous New Mexico winds have blown down some of the fencing.
Makes it easier to see :)
But I hate that a charge cord is on the ground.
and not having this up means some poor R1T owner is using the Tesla...
I actually like it better than the original design. Nice to keep a functional gear tunnel while still having a small portable set up.
That said, for the amount of times I would use it, gonna pass at 1,400.
But if I did more camp cooking away from our cabin, I would get it. Clean design. Simple.
