I am looking at purchasing a replacement body panel directly from Rivian and I can have it paint matched from the factory. I am wondering if anyone has experience with this and how closely the new panel matched their vehicle - was any blending necessary? Thanks

That may be true. The way I read Xcel's wiring rebate is that you qualify either by purchasing a qualifying home charger or installing wiring to support the charger. Just wanted to add that I recently installed the Rivian charger and I was able to qualify for the $500 home wiring rebate. Because Rivian is not a supported vehicle I was not able to qualify for the $50 credit for scheduled charging.

Odd request, but I have recently switched from an R1S to a T and as a result my number has come up quicker than expected. I am having trouble scheduling a test drive and my primary concern is fitting the T onto my parking pad. If there is anyone with a T near City Park in Denver that wouldn't...

Has anyone changed their model from and S to a T and taken delivery? If so, what was the timeline for RS shop/guide/delivery after the model change? TIA

Based on my communications with CS they will begin R1S First Mile drives soon, however, if you have received a drive with an R1T you will be precluded from a second drive. I would be very interested to hear of anyone getting an R1S drive @ the Denver service center.

The R1S has three mounting points for the crossbars, so it may be possible to mount the cargo box on alternative mounting points to avoid the rear hatch. P. 149 of the owners manual shows the three mounting points.

9/21 R1S order and about 5 minutes from the Denver service center. No first mile invite despite numerous inquiries to CS. I have now decided to wait until they (hopefully) begin R1S test drives.

If I had a nickel for every time I asked CS for a test drive I could buy my R1S with cash 2x over. S00n!

After an eventful week we return to the normal life of a Rivian preorder holder - limited (read: zero) communication and disappointment.

This seems to be right. I live less than 3 miles from the service center and have not had any contact regarding a test drive, but I am a late '21 R1S order.
