Physical buttons, the EV range extended engine configuration, and the more brawny look. I love my Gen 1 R1, but if they came out at the exact same time I might have gone with the Scout.
I do worry about the software implementation which Rivians has been solid. I also worry about VW reliability...
Sorry about the truck but the deer lost its life. I hope you weren’t speeding. But when going though forests at early and late day always best to go slower than posted limit. The deer belong there.
At least show some remorse. The animals are part of what makes getting to nature worthwhile.
If you go through a car wash it will void the warranty. Don’t.
also the chemicals used in a car wash are very harsh I wouldn’t. You do you. You just spent a lot on the vehicle and your going to beat the crapmout of the paint, trim, and film.
Apply only pH neutral foam or shampoo for PPF. This is a good choice: KOCHCHEMIE Gentle Snow Foam. A foam cleaner will need a spray gun though. I would also go with the 2 bucket system. One for soap one for rinse to avoid creating swirls from dirty towels and sponges like this one: Optimum...

Wish it included battery temps here as well. I know it’s on the other screen but that data seems relevant here.
One more wish is it included the service mode data such as Voltage from the charger and voltage at the vehicle. They could have geeked out more. This is basically pulling in the same...
I lose less than 1% a day with the below.
I leave WiFi off. Other than updates it’s not needed. I turn off motion detection but I do have all other Gear Guard on. I turn off hotspot. That’s it.
My phone and go. Are far enough away it doesn’t turn on and off often or ever unless I mean to...
I took my Gen 1 R1T in for a few things, one was the alarm (lights flashing and horn) would never go off. Gear guard would take video but even if I had the phone and fob far away and simulated my own break-in, the alarm never sounded.
The technician is saying when you use phone as a key, it...
