I spoke with an engineer that is on the V2L team it at my test drive and he said their offerings are about a year out. I didn't get into the weeds if he was talking this adapter, or a true V2H product.

I have a Gen2 R1T and a Gen2 R1S. The key fob for R1T worked as it should, the key fob for my R1S is in the same state as you outlined above. I have a support ticket in with Rivian but I keep missing their calls. Will update if I learn anything.

One of my favorite Gen1>Gen2 R1S upgrades is the speed of the motorized rear hatch opening. I swear in the Gen2 it's easily 50% faster.

My n+1 is that kneel mode in Gen2 as a whole is way faster than Gen1. I turned it off in my Gen1 because it was so slow, in my Gen2 it's done kneeling by the time I reach to open the door. And yes, it's less picky about slopes - it now works in my driveway, too.
