But what you DID say is that women feeling unsafe when alone is a left-over paranoia from the 80s. I am telling you that's objectively untrue. Women are made to feel unsafe by men all the time. Often those same men are the ones telling the women that they should just "feel safe" and "give me a...
With all due respect, this is absolutely a fear women live with all the time. Just because you don't (I do not live with this fear, but I'm 6'7" and 225 pounds), doesn't mean it's not real. Frankly, being so dismissive of it paints you as exactly the type of person who adds to those fears.
I have the 22" darks on my Rivian Blue 2025 R1S and I badly want to just add Rivian Blue accents in the spokes. I like the white in your image, but it would be dirty often.
It isn't. I'm 6'7". We shopped the R1S against quite a few of the larger, body-on-frame SUVs on the market. While it doesn't have all the space those do, it's a pleasant surprise how they use space and create room. It doesn't have the presence of the full-size SUVs, but they make very clever use...
So much of what you said is how we ended up here. We were actually negotiating with a dealer for an Escalade IQ, but then got hit with having to replace a roof. The only other option for everything we needed (Particularly Towing) was the Rivian. However, still love it, would buy again.
I have never had this happen, although I did run a soft reset while waiting in a construction zone much to my wife's chagrin. We had to get moving before it completely restarted.
IMO, the overall argument (Which is reminiscent of what I deal with in the middle school where I teach) can be...
I have never had issues with casting except for from my phone's end on YoutubeTV and that includes sitting at a charger in Auburn, NE. Disney+ works great for us and if I'm patient, YTTV eventually gets there, but that's on my phone's end, not the truck's.
I have an Emporia and a Lectron and both work wonderfully. This thread that I've followed over on the Cadillac Lyriq forum has lots of input and experiences.
Despite my current complaints in other threads on this forum, yes. We wanted to make the all EV jump, have ridiculously low electricty rates here (YAY MUNICIPAL UTILITIES!!), but also need significant towing capacity. Oh, and it's fun to drive.
Interesting. My 2004 Canyon always got me a rental, at the very least, and my Lyriq (Which I realize is a luxury brand v. GMC) is a Lyriq loaner, brought to me, every time. I do know, however, from my time in the Lyriq forums that the experience, even with Cadillac, varies widely by dealer. I've...
Every GM vehicle I've bought since 2004 has offered either a loaner or a rental when I'm having warranty work done. This is now from four different dealerships across two states.
Aren't tech and hardware hallmarks of a luxury brand? I realize that Rivian might not market themselves as luxury, but the market positions them as such. Shoppers are shopping them against traditional luxury brands. Whether they like it or not, they're luxury.
