My Vin is also in the same range, Have they taken a decision to replace 12V batteries for certain set of vehicles?
  2. Beware, Beware the 12V Battery Warranty (Also positive Eastvale CA service center visit)

I dropped my R1S for a regular tire rotation and inspection yesterday at the Trenton Service center, NJ and they replaced my 12V battery. When I asked why they replaced it, I was told they are doing it as a proactive measure. He was very vocal to state that this is not a recall. I am thinking...
  3. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

I took a small trip yesterday and tried what was described in this video. And i was able to get to only Tesla chargers. This is really useful. Thx for sharing this.
  4. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

Yes i use kneel mode. Does this cause this effect?
  5. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

I think that's what i will do now. unselect auto and select standard as a permanent setting. This is what was happening to me. I met other Rivian owners using Tesla chargers and they did not face this problem. So i think it might be some other setting which is affecting my navigation.
  6. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

Interesting video. I will try this next time and see if it works.
  7. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

Like I said I tried multiple settings including the adapter setting, and selected only Tesla setting but it would still select Non Tesla's. Again nothing wrong with it but I found it strange it would not select Tesla superchargers. I drove only in All-Purpose mode. In the city it never sets to...
  8. 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana - Good/Bad

Last week our family of 4 took a 2000 mile road trip from NJ to Indiana to drop my daughter at her university. I shied away from using Rivian for a similar trip in February of this year. But with the Tesla supercharger becoming available it was a no brainer. Wanted to share the good and the bad...
  9. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

Like I mentioned in one of my posts, everything happened in a blink of an eye and I don’t even remember if the collusion warning started breaking the truck or not. I wish it was capturing this info somewhere and we can pull those out. I would assume from a technology perspective if the gear...
  10. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

This Pic is great. This is what i was looking for. Thx for posting. This pretty much explains my questions.
  11. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

I am not blaming anyone else here nor the car. Infact i started braking after i got the warning. Thanks for the explanation. This explains the message on the screen where it shows three sensors as being not available. I am not using the cruise or ACC for now until everything was fixed. I was...
  12. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

Thanks for the support. at this point it seems everthing is fixable and no major damage. I will get the estimate today.
  13. My R1S rear ended a delivery truck - results

Obviously it is my mistake and it should not have happened. I made that clear n my post. I am glad there is a 23 year gap between mistakes. Mistakes happen we cannot avoid it for ever. I am glad nobody was injured and it was minor. Coming back to the ACC not working, according to the shop...
