  1. Trip Report - White Rim Trail - Canyonlands National Park - Moab, UT

I did the same trip back in 2024 and it worked great also. Super amazing scenery and the car did not break a sweat. I remember the jeep days where I had 3 pedals to work and now with just one…it was effortless.
  2. Range question for gen 1 2024 R1S quad

also have a 2023 R1S with 20 inch AT and I get 273 miles also.
  3. Which R2 wheel size is everyone getting?

I have a 2023 R1S with 30K miles on it with 20” Pirellis and there is plenty of tire wear left. If one does not accelerate and stop and go crazy fast, the tire does fine. I do take it off road also and not just use it for speed bumps in LA! )) The tire is great off road so If I do the R2, I will...
  4. Rivian Assistant Makes Siri Look Overqualified

It lasted 10 minutes for me…where does the music come from if you cannot use Alexa at the same time? I know I need to read up on it but…….
  5. What's on your R2 Tri-Motor Wishlist from Rivian Adventure Division?

Full size spare, manual controls for A/C, Apple Car Play and more service centers so we can have good and prompt service.
  6. Looking for places to visit on Oregon Coast

If you have time to go inland, Sunriver is a beautiful outdoor mecca.
  7. New R1T owner in so cal

Congrats! I am in Socal also in Hermosa Beach with a 2023 R1S Quad. We go off roading several times a year but also use it for speed bumps in LA! ))) Needed a control computer in the first few months but has been great ever since. Even go hit by a deer at 65mph but all is working well after...
  8. What Actually Fails First in Real-World Rivian Ownership

Not having a full size spare in an adventure off road vehicle? really? No apple car play which is a safety feature. fan directional guides only being electric on the panel. Otherwise, it has been a great vehicle and we do use it off road and not just for speed bumps in LA!! ))
  9. Got State Farm for insurance? Love to hear from you.

We got hit by a deer in oregon last summer with $18,500 of damage. State Farm paid right away and we had a $500 deductible so it all worked out well. It is considered a no fault incident because no other car was involved so insurance did not go up.
  10. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Rivian owner?

Sit inside the car with a strong Margarita and read the manual twice within a month.
  11. Rivian PLEASE give us a VERY LOW REGEN for Conserve Mode and Snow.

When you use conserve mode, isn’t that wearing out the tires much sooner? The mode comes in handy sometimes but full time is bad for the front tires I believe. I use snow mode full time to have a smoother braking ride and I live in LA. It works great.
  12. Community interest in taking your Rivian Off-Road.

Took the R1S Quad to Moab as soon as we bought it and did several trails including the White Rim Trail and the car barely broke a sweat. Amazing performance. We did get a cut in the sidewall and had it replaced in Moab. Super fun!
  13. I bricked my R1S in the Oregon Outback - Learn from my mistake!

Holey Moley! Thanks for sharing your experience. That is valuable info. JB
  14. Got State Farm for insurance? Love to hear from you.

We had a deer smash into us when I was doing the speed limit but the speed limit was 65mph. I had State Farm insurance and have had it for 40 years. They used a Rivian approved repair service and all went well. The final cost was $16K as the cooling system for the car and the battery was wrecked...
